Conditions for Entry

  • Nominations open on Monday October 19, 2009 and close on Friday December 11, 2009.
  • All applications must be received by the award administrator by December 11, 2009.
  • All applications must be submitted by email to info@veuveclicquotaward.co.nz using the downloadable form as a template.
  • Only one nomination per person.
  • Previous nominees can apply.
  • You may not self-nominate.
  • When nominating, it is essential that the consent of that person is obtained. By submitting the Nomination Form, it is acknowledged by the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award that the Nominee has provided consent.
  • Employees of Moët Hennessy New Zealand, the LVMH Group and its affiliated companies, members of the Award panel and previous winners are not eligible for entry.
  • Candidates for the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award must have a significant record of employment, be currently working and have conducted business in New Zealand for at least three consecutive years prior to November 2009.
  • Candidates must be female New Zealand citizens/residents over the age of 21 and working and living in New Zealand.
  • Entries are welcome from women in all business areas regardless of size or industry.
  • Candidates' businesses must be financially viable.
  • In early February, five candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview with the judging panel. If you are invited for an interview you will be asked to provide accurate and current verification of your financials.
  • Shortlisted candidates must be available for an interview in Auckland on February 15, 2010.
  • Finalists must be available to attend the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award event in Auckland on March 25, 2010.
  • The winner must be available to attend the Veuve Clicquot Business Women's Forum in Reims in October 2010.
  • The winner will be an ambassador for the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award in New Zealand for the twelve months following the Award announcement. She must be available for media interviews plus three public speaking engagements throughout that year.
  • All entry submissions are kept in the strictest confidence. Entries and supporting documents are held in a secure environment for the duration of the Award and then destroyed at the end of judging. Please be aware that no documents can be returned.
  • Please provide details of any known potential disputes or legal proceedings that may impact on your business, affect your progress or be likely to bring the Award into disrepute.
  • Please note the credibility of the Award is dependant on the accuracy of the information submitted.
